The next meeting of the Zoological Section on Biological Problems of the Republican Council for Coordinating Scientific Research was held

On February 15, 2024, the 2nd meeting of the Zoology section was held on the Zoom platform in 2024 at the MSERA Institute of Zoology. The specialists discussed 2 dissertation topics for obtaining the PhD degree in Biology: dissertation entitled "Epizootology of fasciolosis in sheep in Julfa district of Nakhchivan MR and treatment and prevention measures against them with new anthelmintic preparations" to be completed by Ganbarov Hasan Huseyn oglu, a part-time doctoral student of the Doctor of Philosophy program of the Veterinary Science and Research Institute in 2429.01-Parasitology specialty (Scientific supervisor: Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, corresponding member of ANAS Saleh Heydar oglu Maharramov) and dissertation topic on "Ornithological study of flight safety at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport" to be carried out by Gadirzade Firuze Imran gizi, a part-time doctoral student of the Department of Zoology and Physiology in the PhD program of BSU, in specialty 2401-01 "Zoology" to receive a PhD scientific degree (Scientific supervisor: Head of Department of Zoology and Physiology of BSU, PhD in Biology, Associate Professor, Abulfaz Naghi Taghiyev).
Chairman of the meeting on the first topic, Dr. Biological sciences, corresponding member of ANAS Ilham Alakbarov, PhD in Agrarian sciences, Associate Professor Aladdin Eyvazov, Dr. Biological sciences, Assoc. Prof. Elshad Ahmadov, PhD in Biological sciences Barat Ahmadov, PhD in Biological sciences Tavakkul Iskenderov were reported. After the discussions, it was decided that the subject of the dissertation work should be submitted for discussion again in the appropriate field of science, as it belongs to the Parasitology specialty of Agricultural Sciences.
Chairman of the meeting on the second topic, Dr. Biological sciences, corresponding member of ANAS Ilham Alakbarov, PhD in Agrarian sciences, Assoc. Prof. Aladdin Eyvazov, Dr. Biological sciences, Assoc. Prof. Elshad Ahmadov, Dr. Biological sciences Tahir Karimov, PhD in Agrarian sciences Ilhama Karimova, PhD in Biological sciences Sabina Bunyatova were reported. After the discussions, it was decided to approve the dissertation topic as "Ornithological study of flight safety at Heydar Aliyev International Airport".
Finally, discussions were held and appropriate decisions were made.
