The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education under MSERA

On February 12, 2024, the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology was held. Opening the meeting Director General of the institute, PhD in Agrarian sciences, Associate Professor Aladdin Eyvazov congratulated the Executive Director of the institute, Dr. Biological sciences, Associate Professor Elshad Ahmadov on the occasion of his 55th anniversary, wished him robust health and successes in the path of a difficult and honorable life, and presented the Honorary Decree of the Institute of Zoology. 

During the event, Aladdin Eyvazov informed the Council members about the work schedule of the Scientific Council for 2024.

Afterwards, Elshad Ahmadov delivered a report on the topics of Scientific Research for 2024-2025.

The next item on the agenda was about the publication of Nizami Novruzov's monograph entitled "Scorpions and salpugs (Arachnida: Scorpiones, Solifugae) of the South Caucasus" (Annotated list). 

Finally, other issues on the agenda were discussed and relevant decisions were made.
