The next meeting of the Zoological Section on Biological Problems of the Republican Council for Coordinating Scientific Research was held

On February 1, 2024, the next meeting of the Zoological section operating under the MSE Institute of Zoology was held on the Zoom platform. Opening the meeting , Ilham Alakbarov, corresponding member of ANAS, greeted the event participants. At the meeting were discussed issues such as approving A.A. Manafov, senior researcher of the Parasitology Laboratory of MSERA Institute of Zoology, Doctor of biological sciences, as a scientific advisor for Aygun Aydın gizi Azizova, a doctoral student of the Doctor of Sciences program of the Parasitology Department of the Veterinary Research Institute, Associate Professor, due to passing away of her scientific advisor - Doctor of biological sciences Z.M. Mammadov, including partially changing the name of dissertation work "Bio-ecological features of the helminth fauna of small-horned animals in the mountainous and lowland areas of Shirvan" and approving it as "Morphological, biological, taxonomic study and epizootological analysis of parasite protozoa and helminth fauna of small-horned animals in Shirvan geographical region".
