The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education under MSERA

The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology was held on December 1, 2023. Aladdin Eyvazov, Acting General Director of the Institute, PhD in Agrarian sciences, Assoc. Prof., who opened the meeting,informed the members of the Council about the issues on the agenda. The final works of relevant laboratories were discussed at the institute. In total, 11 final works included in 4 topics were discussed.

Final reports of the Protozoology Laboratory, Laboratory of Parasite-Host Relationship Biochemistry and Parasitology Laboratory were listened at the meeting. Corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Ilham Alakbarov and PhD in Biology Turkan Gurbanova delivered lecture on the report of the Protozoology Laboratory,  Dr. Biology, Associate Professor Elshad Ahmadov, Dr. Biology, Professor Shafiga Topchiyeva delivered lecture on the report of Laboratory of Parasite-Host Relationship Biochemistry, Dr. Biology, Associate Professor Asif Manafov delivered lecture on the report of Parasitology laboratory, Dr. Biology, while Associate Professor Yegana Mahmudova, Dr. Biology, Associate Professor Ali Nasirov, Dr. Biology, and Associate Professor  Mahir Huseynov delivered lectures at the meeting. The head of the Education Department  PhD in Biology Shafa Khasayeva provided information about the results of the attestation of doctoral students and dissertators.

Finally, discussions were held, proposals and relevant decisions were made.
