Employees of the Center of Applied Zoology visited the expedition organized in Guba region

Employees of the Center of Applied Zoology of MSERA Institute of Zoology - a junior researcher Rafiga Gazi, Matanat Gubadova and researcher Laman Dadashova visited Guba region on 22.09.-26.09.2023.

During the expedition, samples were taken from sick, weak and suspicious bee families in beekeeping farms located in the villages of Vladimirovka, Aghbil, Ashagi Atuzh of Guba and in the territory of Shabran region, were brought to the laboratory and placed in a freezer at -20°. Nosematosis, akarapitosis, lime and stone diseases of bees will be applied on these samples as well as varroa parasite in our laboratory, and the determination of viral diseases will be carried out in the laboratory located in Samsun, Turkey.

Note that during this year mass deaths of bees are observed more often than in previous years, and this year's productivity is quite low.
