Institute of Zoology held a meeting with Tajik scientists

On August 15, 2023, MSERA Institute of Zoology hosted for a meeting with Habilov Tolibjan Kadyrovich, Professor, the senior researcher of the Institute of Natural Sciences of "Khojend State University named after Academician B. Gafurov" of Tajikistan, and Zahidova (Tacibayeva) Dilbar Ergashovna, Associate Professor of the "Zoology and Physiology of Humans and Animals" Department of the same university.  Opening the event, Acting General Director of MSERA Institute of Zoology, Associate Professor Aladdin Eyvazov greeted the guests and provided them detailed information about activities and academic capacity of the institute, especially the "Terresterial Vertebrates" Laboratory.

Note that during the meeting, both guests who are specialists in bats, were accompanied by PhD in Biological sciences Nijat Hasanov. At the end of the meeting, A. Eyvazov presented the third edition of the "Red Book" of the Republic of Azerbaijan to N. Hasanov.

After the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the employees of the "Terresterial Vertebrates" laboratory and the collection fund, and discussed the prospects of cooperation on bats research in both countries in the future.
