Employees of MSERA Institute of Zoology and RAS Institute of Plant and Animal Ecology were on a joint expedition

On June 21 - July 3, the employees of the Institute of Ecology of Plants and Animals of the Ural District of the Russian Academy of Sciences Candidate of Biological sciences Lidiya Yalkovskaya, Candidate of Biological sciences Yevgeniya Markova and a graduate student Arseniy Galimov were on a academic trip to the Institute of Zoology. The purpose of the visit was to conduct joint scientific research and discuss future research based on the agreement signed between the institutes from 2019.
In the course of joint research, Russian scientists, together with Leyla Nadirli, a researcher of the Laboratory of Terrestrial Vertebrates, reviewed the laboratory's therological collection materials and also went on a scientific expedition. During the expedition, species diversity of field mice distributed in Shamakhi and Astara regions was studied.
