Employees of the Institute of Zoology were on a field trip

On December 7-9, 2022, a senior researcher of the Parasitology Laboratory of the Institute of Zoology of the Ministry of Science and Education, Dr. Biology, Associate Professor Asif Manafov, and the scientific secretary of the institute, Assistant Professor Sara Aliyeva, went on a field trip together with the Working group, organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, from the territory of Zangilan region in order to ensure the conduct of physico-chemical and biological monitoring in Okchuchay. 

According to the prepared joint action plan, complex scientific-research works were carried out in the Okchuchay basin, which is a transboundary river, and materials related to hydrobionts were collected. Analysis of materials is carried out in relevant institutions represented in the working group, including the Institute of Zoology.
