The training on the preparation of the III edition of the "Red Book" kicked off

By joint organization of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) and Institute of Zoology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan,  the trainings have been launched for evaluation Red List of species to be included in the III edition of the "Red Book" of the Republic of Azerbaijan, according to categories and criteria  by the Azerbaijani representative office of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), October 17, 2022.

The training is conducted by IUCN commission member, ecologist Andrew Rodrigues PhD. Members of the working groups of various organizations (Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Institutes of Zoology and Botany) participating in the preparation of the III edition of the "Red Book" take part in the training.

Note that the training is keen to be held on October 17-19.
