The next meeting of the scientific seminar under the Dissertation Council was held

PhD thesis work by Gunay Zahid gizi Isgandarova, a doctoral student of the Center of Applied Zoology of the Institute of Zoology, on the topic "Effect of temperature and photoperiod on the Biology of the beet moth (Aphis fabae Scop.)" was discussed at the scientific seminar, operating under the Dissertation Council in specialty 2413.01 - "Entomology". The scientific supervision of the research work is the head of the Center of Applied Zoology, PhD in Biology, Assoc. Prof. Barat Ahmadov.
Opening the event with an introductory speech, the head of the Laboratory of Terresterial Invertebrates of the Institute of Zoology, Ph.D., Prof. Gulzar Mustafayeva gave the floor to the applicant. After extensive discussions, the secretary, Assoc. Prof. Irada Agaverdi gizi Nuriyeva read the opinion of the scientific seminar and brought it to the attention of the seminar participants. 
At the end of the seminar, taking into account the scientific and practical importance of the Gunay Isgandarova's "Effect of temperature and photoperiod on the Biology of the beet moth (Aphis fabae Scop.)" thesis work in specialty 2413.01 - "Entomology" was considered appropriate to submit to the Dissertation Council to receive the degree of PhD in Biological Sciences, as it meets the requirements of the doctoral theses included in Supreme Attestation Commisison under President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
