Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS held an event dedicated to the Youth Day

As is known, the announcement of February 2 as Youth Day is connected with the name of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The state youth policy has been successfully implemented in Azerbaijan since 1994. For 25 years, Azerbaijani youth have been celebrating their holidays with great success all over the country.
Opening the event, Executive Director of the institute, Dr. Elshad Ahmadov congratulated the young scientists on this wonderful day and wished them success in their work. He stressed out  important measures such as the adoption of the State Program "Azerbaijani youth in 2011-2015" as an example of attention and care for young scientists and in this connection, the establishment of the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the establishment of the Presidential Award for Youth, the Youth Development Strategy for 2015-2025, as the sample of deep care and attention for the youth. 
Leyla Nadirli, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute, also congratulated the youth, informed about the establishment of Youth Day and stressed that the science and youth policy implemented in our country is aimed at more effective activities of young people engaged in science.
Deputy Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists Nigar Mehdiyeva and Secretary Khatira Gahramanli congratulated the young people and challenged on them to be more active and fruitful in their scientific activities. The young scientists said they always felt the care and would always justify the trust.
