Employees of the Laboratory of Terrestrial Vertebrates had an expedition in Shamakhi and Ismayilli regions

The senior researcher of the Laboratory of the Terrestrial Vertebrates of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS, Ph.D. in Biology Esmira Mammadrzayeva, a researcher doctoral student Leyla Hasanova and an extramural doctoral student Ilaha Karimova visited Shamakhi and Ismayilli regions on June 8-17.
During the expedition, grain fields around Shamakhi region, as well as meadows in Gara-Gaya, Talistan, Chemenli villages of Ismayilli region, forest areas, and steppes have been identified and collected theological materials. According to the subjects, the scientists picked up materials on the species of forest mice and wild mice and brought them to the laboratory for researching.
