Employees of the Laboratory of Terrestrial Invertebrates had an expedition in Ismayilli region

Leading scientists of the Laboratory of Terrestrial Invertebrates of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS, PhDs.in Biology Ellada Huseynova and Sakina Hajiyeva visited Ismayilli region on June 07-11 to collect entomological material to study the current state of entomofauna - butterflies and the Araneae, to assess the ecological status of rare and minor species.
During the expedition, materials were collected from Garagaya and Tazakend villages of Ismayilli region. The obtained materials were placed on alcohol or cotton mattresses, provided with a label, and brought to the laboratory for identification of species.
