Employees of the Institute of Zoology have been on an international expedition

on June 25 - July 5, 2019 employees of the Laboratory of Parasitology of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS - doctor of biological sciences Mahir Huseynov, scientific worker Namig Rzayev and the staff of the Department of “Ecology of  Zoology and Animals” of Kharkov National University  of Ukraine -  doctor of biological sciences, professor Sergey Yutovich Utevski, postgraduate Galina Morgun have been on an expedition in Ganja district.

The goal of the expedition was to study leeches fauna in the area of  Goygol, Maralgol, Zelligol water basins which  located in Goygol National Park. Also,  other invertebrate animals - mollusks, amphipods (gammarids) were collected in parallel with the leeches and brought to the laboratory for research.
