Academician Akif Alizadeh acquainted with the thesis defenseof of second-year masters students of ANAS

ANAS Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies held the thesis defense of the 2nd course masters of ANAS on June 4.

The event was attended by President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh, Vice-President of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, academician Irada Huseynova, Acting Academician-Secretary of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov, head of the Magistracy Department of the Head Office of Science and Education, PhD in Agrarian Science Fikrat Feyziev, Director of the Institute of Physiology, Doctor of Biological Sciences Ulduz Hashimova and others.

Chairman of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies Board for Protection, corresponding member of ANAS Ibrahim Azizov opened the meeting, informed the participants about the agenda of the event. He stressed that, 8 masters on the Molecular Biology specializations, Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Entomology presented their thesis for discussion. I.Azizov said that, 5 masters were trained at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, 2 at the Institute of Physiology and 1 at the Institute of Zoology.

Then, head of the Department of Education of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, PhD in Biology, Associate Professor Samira Rustamova spoke about the masters and the topics of their dissertations. Further, masters presented their dissertations and respondent the questions.

Note that, in accordance with the order of the President of ANAS, 12 Board for Protection were created to defend dissertations.
