Great leader Heydar Aliyev made an invaluable contribution to the comprehensive development of Azerbaijan

On May 8, an event dedicated to the 94th anniversary of the birth of the great leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Institute of Botany of ANAS.

The deputy director for scientific work of this institution, Doctor of Biological Sciences Eldar Novruzov noted that the national leader Heydar Aliyev has a special place in the history of the ancient statehood of Azerbaijan.

Speaking about the attention and concern of the brilliant leader on science, education, economy and agriculture during his leadership of Azerbaijan, E.Novruzov stressed that the great leader paid special attention to the advancement of Azerbaijani cadres in the Soviet era.

It was noted that the national leader Heydar Aliyev served the interests of the people, the state, society and citizens during the political activity, selflessly worked for the sake of the integrity of Azerbaijan, the growth of the authority of our country in the international arena. Today the name of an outstanding statesman has become a source of pride of the Azerbaijani people.

At the event, the chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the Institute of Botany, Ph.D. in Biology Oktay Mirzeyev, Dr.Biology Mais Gasimov, head of the Department of Education, PhD in Biology Rashad Salimov, doctoral student Tural Gasimov and others spoke about the goal-oriented policy of the great leader in the history of Azerbaijan, his role in the development of all spheres in our country.
