The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Zoology of ANAS on 18.12.2017. The director of the institute, Elman Yusifov, opened the agenda issues to the members of the Scientific Council. On October 12, 2017, Asif Manafov and Ali Mammadov submitted their documents to the Parasitology Laboratory as the Chief Scientific Officer and the Applied Zoology Center for the position of leading scientific worker. It was expedient to file a petition before the Department of Biology and Medical Sciences regarding the nomination of candidates. At the end, there were discussions and decisions on various issues and staff training.
