The dissertation work of the Applied Zoology Center's staff was discussed at the department

The dissertation of the research assistant of the center, Sabina Hasanova on the subject "Bioecological and physiological features of the seven-point coccinellidae" was discussed at the joint session of the Laboratory of Applied Zoology Center  of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS.

Hasanova studied the effects of temperature, photoperiod and nutrition on bioecological and some physiological indicators of the 7-point coccinellidae, which is considered one of the most effective types of biological antibiotics in the world.

For the first time in the country, the researcher determined the optimal mode for the massive reproduction of the seven-point coccinellidae in the laboratory under artificial conditions.
