ANAS cares youth

On February 7, President of ANAS Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, associate professor Famin Salmanov met with members of the Council of young scientists and specialists of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.

At the meeting, Director of the InstituteAcademician Irada Huseynova spoke about the ongoing in Azerbaijan successful youth policy, and highlighted the role of youth in the further strengthening of our independence and statehood.

She reminded that, the announsment in our country 2 February Youth Day is associated with the name of great leader Heydar Aliyev. It was noted that, it was after the return of the great leader to power for the second time in Azerbaijan was laid the basis of the state youth policy.

By the support of the national leader on February 2, 1996 hosted the First Youth Forum, and in 1997 by the Order of the national leader Heydar Aliyev from 2 February was celebrated the Youth Day in Azerbaijan.

Academician, speaking about the achievements of young scientists and specialists of institutions led by it, said that among the candidates submitted by ANAS on competition after "Presidential Youth Award" to be held in different years, were also young scientists of the Institute.

Then, chairman of Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, associate professor Famin Salmanov said that, the newly formed Council of the Institute is different activity. It was noted that, the Council shall take an active part in the implementation of projects of the Council of young scientists and specialists of the Academy.

Informing about the plan of activities of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS for 2017, chairman noted that, the planned implementation of such projects in the current year, as the Master of 2017, Tehnostart 2017 and others. The main goal is to support the research activities of young scientists, graduate students, doctoral students and candidates for a degree of scientific institutions, encouraging them in innovative research initiatives.

Then chairman of Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, PhD in Biology Ulduz Gurbanova gave information on Council activities in the past year.

At a meeting of the Institute masters Jamila Bayramova, Elnara Sadigova, Elshan Musazadeh, young scientist Gulnara Balakishieva and doctoral student Nargiz Bayramova spoke about education in the magistracy of ANAS, created for doctoral students and candidates for conditions existing material-technical base and achieved success in a short time.
