Employees of the Institute of Zoology were on the expedition

General Director of the Institute of Zoology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, PhD in Agrarian Sciences, Associate Professor Aladdin Eyvazov, head of the Applied Zoology Center, PhD in Biology Barat Ahmadov and Acting Head of the Laboratory of Terrestrial Vertebrates, PhD in Biology Tavakkul Isgandarov got acquainted with the scientific research works conducted in the Mingachevir and Agsu Scientific Experiment Bases of Institute of Zoology. During the expedition, the composition of the fauna was observed in the agrocenoses, locating in the territory of the scientific experiment bases.

According to preliminary information, attention was paid to the activity of fauna species related to the warming of weather conditions. It should be noted that the activity related to the reproductive activity of reptiles, including snakes, was observed. In agrosenosis, including vegetable plants, the activity of fungi was recorded.
