ANAS held the event dedicated to the memory of world-famous scientist Lotfi Zadeh

ANAS Institute of Philosophy held a scientific seminar on "Basic concepts of science and philosophy in the light of fuzzy logic theory" dedicated to the memory of the world-famous scientist Lotfi Zadeh.

At the event, Director of the Institute, Professor Ilham Mammadzadeh in detail told about the life and work of the outstanding scientist, the founder of the theory of fuzzy logic.

Speaking about the importance of Lotfi Zadeh’s scientific heritage, I.Mammadzadeh noted that, the world-famous scientist as the founder of theory of fuzzy logic did a great job, won the credibility of the international scientific community. The rich scientific heritage of the scientist is a powerful source for future generations.

Director of the Institute put forward proposals in connection with the translation into the native language of the works of an outstanding scientist, and also by the wide propagation of his scientific achievements.

Then, head of the Department of the Theory of Knowledge and the Philosophy of Science of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy Fizuli Gurbanov noted that, the founder of the theory of fuzzy logic in the field of artificial intelligence, Lotfi Zadeh is one of the outstanding personalities who made a worthy contribution to world science.

Then, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Zumrud Guluzadeh delivered a report on the rich life and work of an outstanding scientist. She noted that, the name of the scientist is mentioned in the same line with outstanding personalities who made fundamental changes in the history of science. Leading companies of the world, implementing the theory of Lotfi Zadeh, achieved high economic results.

Speaking at the event, the leading scientific employee of ANAS Institute of Control Systems, Professor Ramin Rzayev, leading scientific employee of the Institute of Physics, Ph.D. in physical and mathematical sciences Elmira Isayeva and others spoke about the scientific research of the world-famous scientist, his revolutionary innovations in the field of fuzzy logic, that the memory of him will always be honored with deep respect by our people.
