April 16 - World Day of Biologists was celebrated at the Institute of Zoology

Biology means the science of "life," in short, that helps us understand our culture, art, science, religion, philosophy, and the vital functions that make possible everything we can think of as "human." Those who are engaged in this science are biologists. It is the biologists who study and understand the "live" system and all the systems related to it, and reveal the existence of living things and their usefulness. Being a biologist is not only dealing with plants and animals, but also believing in the immortality of nature and always willingness to protect it better. Society always needs biologists. Currently, in many countries around the world, research and application works are being carried out in a wide range of fields from the health sector to the environment and agriculture sector in the field of Biology.

Every year April 16 is celebrated as Day of Biologists. On the occasion of this day, we wish succesess to the young people, functioning in this scientific field in their future activities.
