Students of Khazar University visited Institute of Zoology

On May 3, 2023, the second-year students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Khazar University visited the Protozoology laboratory of the MSE Institute of Zoology of AR. The employee of the laboratory, Turkan Gurbanova, introduced the working principle of the laboratory and the rules of organization of research work to the students. In addition, students were informed about the function of modern light microscopes in the laboratory. Later, they visited the Zoological Museum operating under the Institute of Zoology and got acquainted with the collection of scarecrows, skeletons and wet preparations of fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals belonging to the fauna of Azerbaijan and the world, which are exhibited in the exposition of the museum.
