The next meeting of the Zoological Section on Biological Problems of the Republican Council for Coordinating Scientific Research was held

On May 2, 2023, the next online meeting of the Zoological Section of the Republican Scientific Research Coordination Council on Biological Problems was held on the zoom platform. Ilham Alakbarov, the chairman of the Zoological Section, corresponding member of ANAS, who opened the meeting with an introductory speech, greeted the event participants.
Later, the scientific secretary of the institute, Associate Professor Sara Aliyeva provided information about the topic of Lala Rashid gizi Abdullayeva, a doctoral student of the Ganja State University's doctoral program, entitled "Population structure of fish belonging to the Cyprinidae family in the ridge reservoirs on the Kura River". After a detailed discussion with the participation of a claimant and the scientific advisor, Dr. Biology Vafa Mammadova, it was recommended to change the name of the topic and revise it because its controversial plot.
In the discussions, Acting General Director of the institute, Associate Professor Aladdin Eyvazov, Executive Director, Associate Professor Elshad Ahmadov, Doctors of biological sciences - Ali Nasirov, Tahir Karimov, PhDs in Biology - Barat Ahmadov, Abulfaz Taghiyev, Nijat Hasanov and others participated.
