Institute of Zoology held the next meeting of the Scientific Council

On April 11, 2023, the next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the MSE Institute of Zoology. Opening the meeting, Acting General Director of the institute, PhD., Associate Professor Aladdin Eyvazov familiarized the members of the council with the issues on the agenda. Later, A. Eyvazov, congratulated Tavakkul Iskandarov,  Acting Head of the Laboratory of Terrestrerial Vertebrates, PhD, Assoc. Prof., on the 70th anniversary of his birth on behalf of the institute staff,  and awarded him with the honorary decree of the institute.

Later, Associate Professor Elshad Ahmadov presented the book "Information system of Azerbaijani fauna (Vertebrates)" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, which was published at the initiative of the Institute of Zoology.

Then, scientific secretary, PhD, Associate Professor Sara Aliyeva spoke on the scientific-practical seminar dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev's birth to be held on April 27, 2023 entitled "Actual problems of scientific research: theoretical and practical aspects of zoology", and head of the Education Department, PhD Shafa Khasayeva provided information about the results of the master's attestation and the admission plan for doctorate and disertate programs for the 2023 academic year.

Finally, other issues on the agenda were discussed and relevant decisions were made.
