The general department was established by the decision of the Scientific Council at the expense of the internal capabilities of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS. From September 1, 2021 until now, it has been renamed "Documentation Department".

Controlling document circulation and execution period, organizing of document circulation accounting work;

Getting acquainted with the documents received by the institute, checking the quality of the compilation of all documents that will be submitted to the management for approval;

Organizing and improving of clerical work, electronic document circulation, archival work in the institute;

Placing of archival documents, submitting of documents from structural units of the institute, preserving, preparing for handing over to the state archive, and providing references to incoming applications about archival documents.
