The event has been held at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) in the framework of the II Azerbaijan Science Festival

II Azerbaijan  Science Festival, held on the initiative of ANAS on October 31 has continued its work at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University on November  1.  ASOIU's Vice rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov stressed the development of society, related to the development of science, achievements of sceince and importance of the constant monitoring and implementation of its educational process. G.Mammadov, referring to the scientific achievements of the University in 2016, talked on 41 articles of the teaching staff of the higher school within 10 months of the current year, published in the "Web of Science", being the most famous and rated source of the world. G.Mammadov, giving on the French-Azerbaijan University (FAU) and "Eazi START" startup school, stressed the importance of both projects.  The speeches of the speakers of the II Science Festival  - Doctor of Science in Chemical Sciences, Rasim Alosmanov’s "The new functional materials and ecology",  Professor Asif Mammadov ‘s "Modern chemistry problems" and Rustam Rajabov ‘s "The water management of the Republic of Azerbaijan - theory and practice" met with interest. As well as, importance and significance of the speeches were brought to the attention of the participants of the festival by other speakers.  The event continued with various dances of ASOIU’s "Youth" song and dance ensemble  after completion of the official part.

It should be noted that the university's doctoral student Shahzada Madatova, being an organization representative of the festival has participated in the event work at a high level.

This festival, implemented with the organizational support of the UNESCO, Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Republic, Baku City Executive Power, Knowledge Fund under the Azerbaijani President, Science Development Fund under the President of Azerbaijan, US Embassy of Azerbaijan and Moscow State University, began in Baku will be continued by November 5.
