The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education was held under MSERA

On April 9, 2024, the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology was held. General Director of the institute, PhD in Agrarian sciences, Associate Professor Aladdin Eyvazov, who opened the meeting, informed the members of the Council about the issues on the agenda.

Executive Director, PhD in Biological sciences, Associate Professor Elshad Ahmadov provided information about scientific research journals and individual work plans of employees.

Later, were issued the partial changes in the name of the thesis of the Laman Dadashova, the researcher of the Center of Applied Zoology and former doctoral student of the Institute majoring in 2401-01 "Zoology" specialty, and Suman Hasanova, the researcher and doctoral student of the Parasitology laboratory majoring in 2429.01 "Parasitology", including a leading researcher of the Laboratory of Terrestrial Invertebrates, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Ellada Huseynova delivered a lecture on "Faunistic analysis of the family of golden beetles in Azerbaijan" and Agil Hajiyev, a junior researcher at the Laboratory of Terrestrial Vertebrates, on "Comparative analysis of morphological and reproductive characteristics of some mammal species in Jeyranchol and Gobustan".

Finally, discussions were held, proposals and relevant decisions were made.
