Institute of Zoology hosted for a meeting with Pakistani scientists

On October 9, 2023, a meeting was held with the professors of entomology from Sindh University of Agriculture of Pakistan at the Institute of Zoology of MSERA. 

The event brought together Acting Director General of the institute, PhD in Agrarian sciences, Assoc. Prof. Aladdin Eyvazov, Executive Director of the institute, Dr. Biology, Assoc. Prof. Elshad Ahmadov and entomological scientists. The guests were informed about the institute's history, scientific activities and research conducted in the field of entemology. In turn, guest professor Imran Khatri talked about the methods of combating harmful insects in the agriculture of his country, the application of new technologies and the utilization of biological agents. The scientist also invited the scientific staff of the institute to participate in the internship programs of the university where he works.

Note that the current university, covering a network of 44,000 students and doctoral students, has contributed to the agricultural sector both nationally and globally. It also hosts a wide variety of academic programs for scientists and researchers from different countries around the world.

At the end of the event, guests responded the questions and future cooperation prospects were discussed.
