Employees of the "Terresterial Vertebrates" laboratory were on an expedition in Lerik region

Employees of the "Terresterial Vertebrates" laboratory of MSERA Institute of Zoology - Acting laboratory director, PhD in Biology, Assoc. Prof. Tavakkul Iskandarov, a leading researcher, PhD in Biology Gulbeniz Gasimova, researchers - Sevinj Rajabova and Leyla Nadirli visited Lerik region on September 4-8, 2023.
The species of amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals encountered during the research were registered, and the effect of temperature conditions of the environment (air, water, and soil) on the daily activities of the species was studied. In addition, the influence of climatic factors on rare and abundant species was studied.
Note that the collected field materials are analyzed in laboratory conditions.
