The researcher of the "Terresterial Vertebrates" laboratory was on the expedition

Agil Hakhiyev, the researcher of the "Terresterial Vertebrates" laboratory of the MSERA Institute of Zoology, a doctoral student, visited the Greater Caucasus physical-geographical region of Azerbaijan on 14.08.2023 - 19.08.2023 for conducting ecological, morphological and genetic research in mammals.

During the expedition, general ecological monitoring of mammals was carried out. Erinaceus concolor,  Pipistrellus pipistrellus, Lepus europaeus, Common hare, Hystrix indica, Meriones (Pallasiomys) libycus, Red-tailed gerbil, Allactaga elater, Vulpes vulpes have been brought to the laboratory for morphological and genetic studies.
