Scientific-practical seminar dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held on the topic "Actual problems of scientific research: theoretical and practical aspects of Zoology"

On April 27, 2023, a scientific-practical seminar dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the MSE Institute of Zoology.
Before the scientific-practical seminar, the staff of the Institute visited the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, laid flowers on his grave, and commemorated his memory with deep respect and reverence.

Then the scientific-practical seminar was opened with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the memory of the Great Leader was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Aladdin Eyvazov, Acting General Director of the institute, PhD in Agrarian sciences, Associate Professor said that the 100th anniversary of the birth of the prominent political figure of Azerbaijan, National Leader Heydar Aliyev is being celebrated. In every corner of our republic, this date is celebrated as one of the most glorious historical days of Azerbaijan. Heydar Aliyev, the author of today's independent Azerbaijan, went down in history as a unique statesman and politician for his services in the development of all areas of our country. The name of this genius politician is a source of pride and pride of our people. His merits for our country is always remembered. And this memory is passed from the older generation to the younger generation like a relay. The memory of our great leader is always remembered and cherished.

Then the head of the Department of History of Caucasian Peoples of Baku State University (BSU), Dr., Honored Teacher, Professor Irada Huseynova delivered a wide lecture on the multifaceted statehood and political activity of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
Chairman of the Yasamal district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, PhD in History, Associate Professor Bakhtiyar Nabiyev delivered a speech and said that with the coming to power of the National Leader, Azerbaijan has stepped on the path of progress for the first time. Upon coming to power, the Great Leader gave an analysis of the socio-economic crisis situation, determined the ways out, and as a result of the successful internal policy, the stage of economic revival, development and national self-awareness was started.

Then, Nihad Mukhtarli, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, reported on "As a result of the wise political course of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, strengthening the employment of low-income citizens, families of martyrs and disabled people, starting the implementation of successful measures in this direction and continuation of this political course by our honorable President Mr. Ilham Aliyev".
Young artist Nijat Mukhtarli presented an oil painting portrait dedicated to National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Academician Zarifa Aliyeva to the institute. Later, Associate Professor of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, PhD Amaliya Hasanova, Director of the Azerbaijan Representation of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Elshad Asgarov, Head of the Department of Zoology and Physiology of Baku State University, PhD, Associate Professor Abulfaz Tagiyev, Development of Specially Protected Areas of the Service for the Protection of Biological Diversity under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Nigar Yusifova, leading consultant of the department, head of the Department of Anatomy, Physiology and Zoology of Ganja State University, Dr., Associate Professor Vafa Mammadova, leading researcher of the Laboratory of Terrestrial Vertebrates, PhD Hafiz Mukhtarov, Acting Head of the Paleozoology Laboratory, PhD Konul Tapdigova, Nijat Mukhtarli and Nihad Mukhtarli delivered various lectures.

Finally, a certificate was presented to the seminar participants and a video dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was displayed.
