Council of Young Scientists and Specialists held the next meeting

On April 3, 2023, the next meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists was held at the MSE Institute of Zoology of AR.

The meeting was opened by Leyla Nadirli, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, a researcher. Later, Leyla Ahmadli, a junior researcher of the Laboratory of Terrestrial Vertebrates, delivered a speech dedicated to April 1 "International Bird Day" at the meeting. She provided detailed information about bird species in danger of extinction, the decrease in their numbers due to anthropogenic effects and the latest statistical results. Acting Head of the Laboratory of Terrestrial Vertebrates,  Assoc. Prof. Tavakkul Isgandarov, Dr., Associate Professor Tahir Karimov and PhD., Assoc. Prof. Hafiz Mukhtarov spoke about the importance of protecting birds and gave their recommendations on more and large-scale holding of such events.
