The regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology was held

On February 17, 2023, the next meeting of the scientific council was held at the  MSERA Institute of Zoology. Acting Director of the institute, Associate Professor Aladdin Eyvazov, who opened the meeting, familiarized the members of the council with the issues on the agenda. Later, A. Eyvazov, on behalf of the institute staff, congratulated the head of the Center of Applied Zoology, PhD, docent Barat Ahmadov on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of his birth and 50th anniversary of his scientific activity, and awarded him with the honorary decree of the institute.

Later, he informed about the implementation of the relevant clauses provided in the Action Plan on "Plant protection against the brown marble gardenia" approved by the Order No. 3587 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 16, 2022 and "The First State Program on the Great Return to the territories freed from occupation of the Republic of Azerbaijan". 

At the meeting, executive director, Dr., Assoc. Prof. Elshad Ahmadov delivered a lecture on the stages of scientific research work and individual work plans for 2023.

Scientific secretary, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Sara Aliyeva told about conducting industrial experiences at the Institute of Zoology of the II-year master graduates  of Baku State University, Head of the Education Department, PhD. Shafa Khasayeva  about the approval of master's educational programs (Syllabus).

Finally, other issues on the agenda were discussed and relevant decisions were made.
