Employees of the Institute of Zoology visited the expedition in Mingachevir

The leading researcher of "Hydrobiology" Laboratory of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS, Assoc. Prof. Suleyman Suleymanov, a junior researcher Intizar Ismayilzadeh and employees of Mingachevir scientific-experimental base (e.i H.Isgandarova, N.Hamidov, B. Safarov) participated in the expedition to the Mingachevir reservoir on 23-27.05.2022. During the expedition, materials on the study of trophic relationships of vital fish (common weight, Caspian pike, eastern bream, Caspian pike and silver heel) living in the changed ecological conditions of the Mingachevir reservoir and the distribution and reserves of fish included in the III edition of the Red Book of the Republic of Azerbaijan have been collected. All materials were brought to the laboratory. Research is ongoing.
