The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology was held

The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS was held on April 22, 2022. Opening the meeting, Aladdin Eyvazov, Acting General Director of the institute, Ph.D. in Agrarian sciences, Associate Professor, acquainted the council members with the issues on the agenda.

At the beginning of the meeting, A. Eyvazov congratulated the senior researcher of the Laboratory of Parasitology, Associate Professor Dr. Biology Yegana Mahmudova on the 60th anniversary and the senior researcher of the Laboratory of Terresterial Invertebrates, Associate Professor Dr. Biology Natalya Snegovaya and wished them robust health and success in their work. Scientists were awarded Honorary Decrees of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS and the institute for their fruitful scientific activities for many years.

Then the Executive Director, Dr. Biology, Associate Professor Elshad Ahmadov delivered a report on the results of attestation of doctoral students and dissertators and submission of articles for publication.

Finally, the head of the Department of Education, Ph.D in Biology Gulbaniz Nadirova informed the council members about the plan for admission to doctoral and dissertation programs this year. In conclusion, other issues on the agenda were discussed and relevant decisions were made.
