The next meeting of the working group on the preparation of the III edition of the "Red Book" of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held at the Institute of Zoology

On March 2, 2022, the next meeting of the working group on the preparation of the III edition of the "Red Book" of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held at the Institute of Zoology of ANAS. The meeting was opened by Acting Director General of the Institute, Ph.D. in Agrarian Sciences, Associate Professor Aladdin Eyvazov,  who gave the floor to the Chairman of the Working Group on Fauna, Executive Director of the Institute, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Elshad Ahmadov. Elshad Ahmadov informed about the rules for the preparation of the III edition of the "Red Book" at a high level, assessment methods, determining the direction of future activities. Then the heads of the working groups on classes Doctor of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Giyas Guliyev, Ph.D. in Biology Adil Aliyev, Tavakkul Isgandarov, Ilhama Karimova provided detailed information about the work done and planned.

Finally, Academician Tariyel Talibov, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Shaig Ibrahimov, Ph.D. in Biology Chingiz Mammadov, Elchin Sultanov and others participated in the discussions and made numerous proposals to the working group, and relevant decisions were made.
