The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology was held

The next reports were listened at the Scientific Council of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS on November 22. The meeting, organized online via the Zoom platform, was opened by Aladdin Eyvazov, Acting Director of the Institute, PhD in Agrarian Sciences, Associate Professor, and Barat Ahmadov, Director of the Center for Applied Zoology, Doctor of Biological Sciences. Barat Ahmadov spoke about the research work carried out by the center's staff this year, the expeditions organized by the staff and the scientific conferences he attended, and provided detailed information about the newly trained staff potential. Then, the head of the Hydrobiology Laboratory, PhD in Biological Sciences Adil Aliyev noted that in the reporting year, the laboratory began research for 6 works on 2 topics. Acting Head of the Paleozoological Laboratory, Doctor of Biological Sciences Konul Tapdigova also spoke about the research work carried out on the Binagadi flora and fauna natural monument of the IV period and gave a detailed report on how to determine the materials found during the excavation.

At the end of the meeting, the questions of the council members were answered by the speakers and the reports were considered advisable.
