The international expert visited the Institute of Zoology

EPR team (international experts) to visit Azerbaijan on November 15-23 in connection with the preparation of the 3rd "Environmental Performance Review-EPR" by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) has been intended. The purpose of the report is to assess the country's progress in shaping national policy and fulfilling its international environmental commitments by aligning its environmental and economic goals. To this end, Karin Fueri, UNICEF Adviser on Environmental Monitoring and Information, and Anar Tagiyev, Deputy Director of the National Environmental Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, has visited the Institute of Zoology. During the meeting, the questions of interest of the international expert for the preparation of the "Summary Report on Environmental Activities" were answered by the Acting Director of the institute, PhD in Agrarian Sciences Aladdin Eyvazov, Doctor of Biological Sciences Elshad Ahmadov, Doctors of Biological Sciences Sara Aliyeva and Tavakkul Isgandarov.
