An employee of the Institute of Zoology was on an expedition in Mingachevir

On September 20-24, 2021, the senior researcher of the Hydrobiology Laboratory, Ph.D. Tapdigova Konul was on an expedition in Mingachevir.

During the expedition, quantitative and qualitative samples of zooplankton were collected from Mingachevir and Varvara reservoirs. In order to study the role of zooplankton in the biocenosis, samples of fish (carp, bream, alburnus, pseudophoxinus) were obtained from water sources, and gastrointestinal contents were analyzed.
