The employees of the Laboratory of Laboratory of Terrestrial Invertebrates were on the expedition in Zagatala and Balakan regions
Chief researcher of the Laboratory of Terrestrial Invertebrates of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS, Doctor of Biological Sciences Natalya Snegova, leading researchers, PhDs. in Biological Sciences Gular Huseynzadeh and Ilhama Karimova visited Zagatala and Balakan regions on May 31-June 4.
During the expedition, entomological materials were collected and examined in Kebeloba and Jijikhana villages of Zagatala region, Beshbulag area of Zagatala State Reserve, Geratab village of Balakan region and surroundings of Gabagchol settlement and river meadows, forest areas and fields. According to the subjects, the scientists collected adult individuals and larvae of species belonging to the families of Anthophila, golden beetles and dragonflies and brought them to the laboratory for study.
