Institute of Zoology held an event dedicated to the International Women's Day

An event on the occasion of "March 8 - International Women's Day" was held at the Institute of Zoology of ANAS on March 5.
The event was opened by the Acting Director of the institute, Ph.D. in Agrarian Sciences, Associate Professor Aladdin Eyvazov, who has congratulated all women employees and stressed that today Azerbaijani women have become a leading force in society. "Women are successful in all spheres of the independent state of Azerbaijan - both in science and in the socio-economic sphere, becoming active participants, making their valuable contribution to the building of society,” he added.


Deputy Director for Science, Associate Professor Elshad Ahmadov, Deputy Director for General Affairs Kamala Rasimli, Head of the Center for Applied Zoology, Ph.D., Associate Professor Barat Ahmadov, a leading researcher, Ph.D., Associate Professor Abulfaz Tagiyev,  a leading researcher, Ph.D., Associate Professor Reyhan Ibrahimova and a junior researcher Saliga Gazi have noted that Azerbaijani women have always been beautiful examples and have written bright pages with their wisdom and business acumen. The heroic children brought up by the Azerbaijani woman, known throughout history for her struggle for the honor of the holy mother, were expressed gratitude for the joy of victory today.


Finally, female employees, who actively participated in the scientific and social activities of the institute were awarded the "Decree of Honor". Scientific Secretary, Ph.D., Associate Professor Sara Aliyeva and Head of the International Relations Department Elyana Tahirova were awarded "Honorary Decrees" for their fruitful activity in the scientific and public life of ANAS. The trade union also distributed holiday gifts to all women employees.
