Professor of the Japanese University visited ANAS Institute of Botany

Professor of the laboratory of the Japanese University Mie Susumu Takamatsu visited ANAS Institute of Botany.

During the meeting with Director of the Institute, academician Valida Alizadeand head of the Laboratory of Mycology of the Institute, Doctor of Biology Dilzara Aghayeva informed guest on the history of the institution, research and achievements. Then, were discussed cooperation on microbiology and the possibility of its expansion.

Professor Susumu Takamatsu got acquired with the laboratories, the Foundation and the Museum of Botany. With his participation in the forests of the Guba region, were carried out works on studying of some mushrooms species. During the visit was held a scientific seminar with the participation of employees of ANAS Institute of Botany, Central Botanical Garden, Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.
