The employee of the Institute of Zoology participated at the international symposium

Leading scientific worker of the Dry vertebrates Laboratory of the Institute of Zoology, Ph.D. in Biology Elchin Sultanov took part in the 14th International Grouse Symposium on 24-28 September 2018 in Logan, Utah, USA. The symposium held at Utah State University attracted about 150 scientists and experts from the most US states and many countries around the world. The main purpose of the Symposium is to study the ecology of the Northeast Aegean and the dynamics of populations, the anthropogenic impacts on them and the management of these effects. Elchin Sultanov made a presentation on the "Contemporary Situation of Caucasian Mountain-Forest Cobs in Azerbaijan" at the last session. The symposium papers will be published in the next edition of Grouse News International Bulletin.
