Chief of the Laboratory for “Parasites of aquatic animals” of the Department of “Parasitology” (Institute of Zoology), Doctor of Sciences in Biology Asif Abbas Manafov was awarded with the gold medal of “The most patriotic scientist-researcher” for his productive activity in the protection of national and moral values, developing talented young scientists, scientific researches and scientific works on complex research of parasitic fauna of animals in various classification, fishes, reptiles, birds, some parasites, promoting patriotic feelings in the young and services in the development of Azerbaijani science in Biology under the decision of “Avropa Nashr Matbu Evi” Award Commission.
