Scientific-practical conference "Fundamental and applied scientific research in Zoology: current issues, achievements and innovations" to be held
Dear Colleagues!
We invite you to participate at the scientific-practical conference "Fundamental and applied scientific research in zoology: current issues, achievements and innovations" to be held on October 8, 2021 at the Institute of Zoology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS and the 100th anniversary of academician Musa Musayev).
The purpose of the conference is to discuss the current problems of zoology, development prospects, fundamental and applied research, the basics of protection and sustainable use of wildlife, its protection, draw the attention of world scientists to numerous scientific studies on the South Caucasus.
Working languages of the conference: Azerbaijani, Russian and English.
It is going to publish the conference materials in bulk. Articles will be accepted in Azerbaijani, Russian and English.
Incoming articles will be submitted for review and articles with a positive review will be recommended for publication.
Conference directions:
Systematics and current status of invertebrate fauna;
Biological and biochemical bases of parasitism;
Actual problems, achievements and innovations of zoology;
Ecology of aquatic organisms, assessment of ichthyofauna and fish resources;
Current state of terrestrial vertebrate fauna, issues of sustainable use of resources;
Rare and endangered animals of Azerbaijan and issues of their protection;
The main problems of integrated struggle.

To participate in the conference:
By June 1, 2021, fill out the form in accordance with Annex 1 and send it as a separate document to the e-mail address of the organization info@zoology.science.az;
The organizing committee will inform the authors by e-mail about the receipt of applications. If there is no confirmation of the application, please send it a second time.
Materials should be prepared and submitted by September 10, 2021 in accordance with Annex 2 (up to 5 pages).
The authors are responsible for the materials submitted to the conference. The editorial staff has the right to correct the materials. Materials may not be accepted if they do not correspond to the direction or scientific level of the conference, do not meet the requirements for registration, or are sent later than the specified time.
The materials will be published in the form of conference materials before the conference. There is a separate fee for each article in the conference proceedings.
The registration fee for conference participants is 30 (thirty) AZN.
Registration fee for doctoral students is 20 AZN.
