Zooparasitological, ecological and micromorphological study of freshwater invertebrates, one of the main links in the food chain, important results in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of parasitological diseases of aquaculture organisms, especially endangered sturgeon. As a result of the first complex micromorphological and parasitological study of the trematode fauna of freshwater mollusks of the genus Melanopsis in our country, the study of biodiversity allowed to prove the phylogenetically close relationship of seemingly distant species, 33 new species of trematodes were discovered. New helminths species, valued in the world press as a "unique faunistic complex" in terms of the seriousness of their theoretical and practical significance, have been documented and published in accordance with the modern requirements of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature. Due to the complexity of the morphobiological structure, new findings on the micromorphological structure of the class of sucking worms (Trematoda), the only group among zoological objects that have not yet been able to establish a single classification, require significant changes in the classification of these objects. The direction of emerging, formation and development of the glandular organ, which plays an important role in the phylogeny of trematodes, has been identified, and the importance of re-evaluating the place and role of this organ in the taxonomic designation of sucking worms has been shown. The importance of the topographic study of the nervous system - hetotaxy in the classification of trematodes has been proved by visual facts. In addition, it has been shown that the data obtained by this method can be used not only as a differentiating trait but also as a reliable integrative trait (proving the phylogenetically close relationship of morphologically distant species). For the first time, the dynamics of changes in the trematode fauna of Melanopsis praemorsa mollusks depending on the season, age and population structure of mollusks, type of water basins were studied, the complex of causes underlying these processes was studied, analyzed, and interpreted in detail. It was found that in ecosystems exposed to severe anthropogenic interventions, the total infection of mollusks with trematodes remains almost stable due to the replacement of quantitative changes in the intensity of trematode infection by qualitative changes. It has been found that this is due to the sharp decline in the number of species in ecosystems, which are characterized by severe and narrow specificity in relation to their owners, due to higher infection of owners with relatively few species with relatively broad specificity. This result, which indicates the existence of a secret mechanism that maintains the balance in ecosystems, allows the penetration of problems related to the global nature of parasitism. The phenomenon of parasitism was first assessed in the context of cause-and-effect relations, the concept of the emergence of parasitism, the place and role of the human factor in the formation and development of relations in parasite-host systems was put forward. Numerous foci of trematode species (metagonimosis, schistosomiasis, haplorhosis, notokotiliosis, sanguinicoliosis) of serious pathogenic significance for humans and animals have been identified in the country, and recommendations for appropriate treatment and preventive measures against these pathogens have been developed.
