Held a meeting on the implementation of the State Program "Azerbaijani Youth in 2017-2021"

The event was held in connection with the implementation of the State Program "Azerbaijani Youth in 2017-2021".

Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Intigam Babayev spoke at the event about the achievements of the youth in the country and the state care for this area. The development of youth, their outlook and integration into the international arena is one of the priorities of the state policy: "Azerbaijan has adopted laws, development strategy and state programs in the field of youth development, as a result formed new scientists, managers, IT engineers, and professional young people in the field of art."

Then MP Shahin Ismayilov said that the youth policy, founded by national leader Heydar Aliyev, is successfully continued under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. It is noteworthy that issues of patriotism, ideology of Azerbaijanism, international integration of young people and the outlook of youth are under the focus of attention in the state programs adopted in this sphere.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Young Scientists and Specialist Council of ANAS, PhD in Physics, Associate Professor Famin Salmanov said that the goal of the four year program is to evaluate the youth's creative and innovative perspectives, use their potential in all spheres of social life, supporting them in education and science, expanding volunteerism throughout the country, and other important issues.

Then Nuraddin Mehdiyev, the chairman of the Public Council on Youth Affairs under the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Seymur Huseynov, the chairman of the National Council of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Miralih Seyidov, chairman of Ireli Public Union, made speeches on the implementation of the program.
