Azerbaijani scientist's fame has spread outside the country

At the last meeting of ANAS Presidium, President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh on behalf of the head of state awarded the ANAS Vice-President of, Director of the Institute of Oil and Gas, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev“Shokhrat” Order, for the merits in the development of science.

I.Guliyev is a prominent scientist in the fields of geology and geochemistry of natural gases, geology of oil and gas deposits and mud volcanism. Under his leadership and involvement, original studies were conducted to study the gas regimes of the broken zones, were studied quantitative estimation of carbon dioxide emissions and quantitative distribution of the atmosphere.
