Zoological Museum began its business activity

According to the entrepreneurial activity defined by legislation, the prices for services of Zoology Museum, operating at the Institute of Zoology of ANAS, have firstly been confirmed.

Prices are set separately for children and adults.

An agreement was signed between the “Dream travel agency” and the Institute of Zoology of ANAS for organizing excursions to the museum. The museum, which has been commissioned after the current renovation, is now ready to welcome visitors.

It should be noted that 257 species of vertebrate animals, including 44 species of mammals, 116 species of birds, 36 species of reptiles, 13 species of water-based and 50 species of fish are demonstrated at the Zoological Museum. There are examples of natural fauna belonging both to the Azerbaijan fauna and the world fauna. The detailed notion exhibits of the typical wildflower, common triton, triton, Caucasian cypress that has been put into the Red Book of Azerbaijan, Caucasian dry frog, Mediterranean turtle, Pallas scorpion, pink pelican, crimson pelican, common mallow, black stork, ordinary flamingo, red- black eagle, tetrachal, dwarf eagle, big eagle, vulture, white owl, ordinary golden eagle, black eagle, Caucasian tetra, ordinary turquoise, Caucasian pheasant, gray grass, gray hut, wire rope, common ground, sultan , the usual adornment, the ordinary we have, the detailed imagination of the diversity of species of our fauna, through the exhibits of rare species, such as Indian scorpion, brown bear, usual purse, Caspian seal, european desert, noble deer and gazellen and other rare species clearly illustrates the diversity of species about our fauna.
